Alicia Cho
Alicia Cho is a young aspiring Singaporean artist, who is currently pursuing a diploma in fine arts at Lasalle College of the Arts. She taught art to young children in the studio ARThaus in 2019. Alicia collaborated with the School of Contemporary Music for a performance backdrop painting of the Great Wall of China under the theme of China. In 2021, Alicia participated in the United Overseas Bank Painting of the Year. Currently, she is teaching art at a studio named Artsy Bugsy.
Alicia Cho aspires to share her art infused with her dreams to help everyone in overcoming difficulties in the community. She believes that it is through the imagination of possibilities that we begin on the path toward possibilities of imagination. She connects deeply with animals, especially dogs. They are an influence on her art. She loves painting them as a form of remembrance. The recovery of dreams—glimpsed and only barely remembered in the mornings—serves to remind all of us that our only limits are only the ones we put on ourselves.
